STUDENTS' MASTERY OF PERSONAL PRONOUN (CASE STUDY ON THE THIRD YEAR STUDENT OF SLTPN 1 MNS. TEUNGOH LHOK NIBONG)

This thesis is titled, Students' Mastery of Personal Pronoun Personal pronoun means a class of pronoun used to replace substantive that point to person and thing or a word that replace a noun. The pronouns are divided into five categories, namely subject form, object form, possessive adjective form, possessive pronoun form, and reflexive form. The purposes of the study are to find out how WI! II the third year student of SLTPN I Meunasah Teungoh in mastering personal pronoun. And which of pronoun category the students mastermost. They were given a set or test ill the form of multiple-choice test. The number of item questions IS 50 items. The number or sample is 57 students that taken from two classes (1112 and 1116). The writer employed some formula which including statistical procedure such as, the range of score, interval, and class interval, mean score, etc The result of the test showed the highest score in this study is 54. One student obtains it only from 57 students who took the test While the lowest score is 22, t\ () students obtained it. The average score or the studentsIn this study is 33. 53. The M (mean score) 33. 53 arc considered relatively low.This means that the students' performance is quite poor
