The theoretical study of the process of the frontal beating of the weft consists in determining the tension of the warp yarns at the edge-rim section. The solution to this issue is inextricably linked with obtaining the equilibrium equations for the warp threads in the zone of fabric formation during surf. The theoretical basis for this is yarn mechanics, which allows simulating the process of interaction between warp and weft yarns during their relative movement in the fabric formation zone with minimal assumptions. The obtained value of the tension of the warp threads at the edge-hedge section is substituted into the well-known equilibrium equation for the edge of the fabric during surf.
