Con el objetivo de caracterizar la recepción de las filosofías de la ciencia post-positivistasen el contexto del positivismo de los psicólogos experimentalistas, se recuperan y analizan las obras históricas centrales de dos historiadores seminales del período: Edwin Boring y Robert Watson. Se detalla la recepción activa de dichos autores de la filosofía de la ciencia de Thomas Kuhn en su primera edición (1962).
