A one semester freshman course on manufacturing engineering is discussed. The course provides engineering students with hands-on experience on the use of personal computers in word processing, spreadsheeting, flow charting and drawing of graphs. It also covers topics on computer-integrated manufacturing, computer numerical control, wave mechanics, soil mechanics circuit theory and casting
