Tomb of Stonewall Jackson, Lexington, Virginia, circa 1931-1944. Caption reads: "Stonewall Jackson was born in 1824. He was one of the first professors in the Virginia Military Institute, located at Lexington, Va., founded in 1839. Jackson later became the military genius of the Southern armies during the war between the states.
