This study was designed to examine the relationship between cyberbullying and stress among college students. Participants included 306 students, mean age of 21, who were asked to report their own self-esteem, helplessness/assertiveness, bullying-related situational stress, and experiences with cyberbullying. Results showed the victims of cyberbullying reported greater situational stress and sense of helplessness and students involved with cyberbullying reported lower self-esteem. These findings emphasize the impact that technology has had on everyday lives and results can be used in therapy to help victims of cyberbullying and in prevention of cyberbullying involvement
