The objectives of this study are : firstly, to determine the effect of fixative types on the depth of shade color of cotton and silk which stained using extract of cocoa’s shell. Secondly, to determine the effect of fixative type on the fade proof color of cotton and silk toward wash ing. Thirdly, to determine the effect of fixative types on the fade proof color of cotton and silk toward washing and ironing. And all three were revealed by RGB digital image processing methode. The result of this study showed that : 1) The use of “tunjung” as fixative on cotton produce the darkest color for all hue in comparison to verdigris and alum, respectively.
