Proceeding Seminar &Call For Papers : Business Dynamics Toward Competitive Economic Region Of Asean (Salatiga : 2014), p. 1126 - 1133This study discusses the instrument and the using of macroprudential policy, and aims to test the effectiveness of macroprudential policy in Indonesia. Macroprudential policy is one way of encouraging the creation of a stable and healthy financial system so that these aspects can contribute to the growth and stability of the national economy. The framework of prudential supervision become the foundation for financial stability, and one of goals of macroprudential instrument is to reduce the procyclicality of credit. This study uses the LTV, and the GWM LDR, as a proxy for macroprudential policy instruments, as well as the use of panel method in testing the effectiveness of macroprudential policy
