Analisis Gender terhadap Pemberdayaan Perempuan dalam Kelurahan Siaga : Studi Kasus di Kelurahan Siaga Kalibening, Kecamatan Tingkir, Kota Salatiga

A research of women’s empowerment in the implementation of Kelurahan Siaga Kalibening was needed to know how women’s participation and women’s empowerment do in the implementation of Kelurahan Siaga Kalibening. This research used descriptive qualitative method in order to get accurate data. Harvard Analytical Framework and Longwe Analytical Framework was choosen to analyse them because they can be used to analyse the relation between women and men so that suitable to the method and goals of this research. Base on the research, Kelurahan Siaga Kalibening was developed because indiegenous workers of health of Kelurahan Kalibening want to reduce their health problems. Women indiegenous workers of health dominate the organization’s activities because they have many experiences in the field. Base on Harvard Analysis, there is no problem for allocating health resources between women and men. Longwe Analysis showed that the implementation of Kelurahan Siaga Kalibening have reached positive level. It means that Kelurahan Siaga Kalibening was positively concerned with women’s issues and with improving the position of women relative to men. There are many factors that influence the women empowerment of Kelurahan Siaga Kalibening. Some of them are religion values, the age, profession, and level of education of indiegenous workers. The research also showed that social capital has important role for women empowerment in the implementation of Kelurahan Siaga Kalibening
