Pengaruh Tipe Kepribadaian dan Risk Tolerance sebagai Variabel Intervening terhadap Orientasi Investasi

Investors have several consideration related to their investment decision. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the big five personality types (neuroticsm, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness ) on investments and to determine the orientation of risk tolerance as an intervening variable effect on the personality type of investment orientation. In this study , the data obtained using a questionnaire . The sampling method used in this study was a non -probability sampling with snowball sampling technique . The sample used in this study were all investors in Salatiga Danareksa , PT Trimegah Asset Management and as many as 76 individual investors . Based on the analysis of data , it can be concluded that the investors with the type of personality and agreeableness neuroticsm choose the orientation of short-term investments, risk tolerance has an influence on the short -term orientation, risk tolerance as an intervening variable only amplify the effect of agreeableness on personality types of short-term investment orientation
