This kind of occupation is a contribution made by women to parents, husband and family to assist the need of family and to show the inner beauty of girls. This research has a purpose to explain the meaning of weaving for women in North Mollo, East Nusa Tenggara. This is an ethnogaphic research. The research revealed that social change has shited the role of women in villages. They tend to buy blanket rom the market instead of do the weaving themselves.
