Common Self-Regulation Strategies used by Structure 4 Students of English Department of Satya Wacana Christian University in Their Learning

Lembar Pengesahan tidak disertai tanda tangan dosen pembimbingThis is a study about common self-regulation strategies used by Structure 4 students of English Department in Satya Wacana Christian University. The data of this study were gathered through a questionnaire which was distributed to the respondents. The respondents were the students of Structure 4 class of year 2010/2011 in which some of them were new in the class and some others were repeaters. The collected data were grouped according to the questions asked. Basically, the questions were divided based on the self-regulations strategies which in turn made the data grouping easier. The result of this study showed that the respondents commonly used 10 out of 12 self-regulations listed in the questionnaire. Through the result of the study, it is expected that students and teachers will understand what self-regulation strategies are and the advantage of self-regulation in learning
