We studied the community of crustaceans associated to the seaweed Asparagopsis armata along the coast of the Iberian Peninsula. Nineteen stations were selected along the Cantabrian, Atlantic and Mediterranean coast. In the intertidal, five physicochemical parameters (temperature, dissolved oxygen, salinity, pH and turbidity) were measured at each station; algae samples were collected (three replicates of 20x20 cm), and its coverage was estimated (five grids of 50x50 cm). Crustaceans were the dominant group (over 80% in number of specimens) followed by annelids, molluscs and echinoderms.
