MORTALIDAD DE AVES POR IMPACTOS CON AVIONES EN EL AEROPUERTO DE JAÉN, CAJAMARCA, PERÚ

Resumen Desde enero 2019 a julio 2021 en el aeropuerto de Jaén la tasa de impacto entre aves y aeronaves fue de 0,031 ind. muertos/km/día y se obtuvo una probabilidad acumulada de supervivencia de las aves de 0,9182. De los individuos muertos el 35% correspondieron a Pastorero peruano (Leistes bellicosus) seguida de la especie Chotacabras menor (Chordeilis acutipennis) con el 21%. El mayor porcentaje de muertes (63,4%) se presentó el 2019. Las variables que tienen mayor relación (80,5%) a los impactos de aves con aviones son: 1) el uso del área de movimiento del aeropuerto por parte de las especies y 2) el comportamiento de los individuos al formar bandadas, ser solitarios o estar en pareja. La densidad de Kernel indicó que el centro de la pista fue donde se encontraron la mayor la cantidad de individuos muertos.Palabras clave: Atropellamientos, poblaciones, riesgo aviario, tránsito aéreo. Abstract From January 2019 to July 2021 at the Jaen airport, the impact rate between birds and aircraft was 0.031 ind. dead/km/day and a cumulative survival probability of the birds of 0.9182 was obtained. Of the dead individuals, 35% corresponded to Peruvian Pastorero (Leistes bellicosus) followed by the lesser nightjar (Chordeilis acutipennis) with 21%. The highest percentage of deaths (63.4%) occurred in 2019.The variables that have the greatest relationship (80.75%) to the impacts of birds with airplanes are: 1) the use of the airport movement area by the species and 2) the behavior of individuals when forming flocks, being solitary or being in pairs. The kernel density indicated that the center of the track was where the largest number of dead individuals were found.
