Illness and medication through the eyes of the Roma people in the Czech Republic

Article introduces original research about the meaning of illness and medication among Czech Roma people. It points to discrepancies between statistical data on Roma health as vied by majority medical staff and their own perspective upon meaning of health and illness, directly responsive to their conduct of healing.Text představuje výsledky původního antropologického výzkumu týkajícího se vnímání nemoci a medikace českými a slovenskými Romy.
