LES DISPOSITIFS DU NET ART. Entre configuration technique et cadrage social de l'interaction

International audienceNet art emphasizes the question of the communicational potential of a media - here, the Internet - wich is altogether the technical support, the creation instrument and the social device of the work. The technologies of information and communication (TIC) set the work of art at the heart of a socially distributed negociation between the artist and the public. This paper focuses on this collective construction of Net art and on its staging. It shows the artistic work and the technical configurations making up the frames of the Net art experience. A typology of these devices allows to distinguish the figures of interactivity such as they are intended at the centre of the technical environnment, and the modes of interaction they unfurl towards the public.La pratique du Net art radicalise la question du potentiel communicationnel d'un média - Internet - qui constitue tout à la fois le support technique, l'outil créatif et le dispositif social de l'œuvre. Sa spécificité réside dans cette conjugaison d'une configuration sociotechnique et d'une occasion sociale ritualisée. Les TIC placent en effet l'œuvre d'art au cœur d'une négociation socialement distribuée entre l'artiste et le public. L'article est focalisé sur cette construction collective du Net art et sur ses mises en scènes. Il montre le travail artistique et les configurations techniques qui composent les cadres de l'expérience du Net art. Une typologie de ces dispositifs offre de distinguer des figures de l'interactivité, telles qu'elles sont prévues au cœur de l'environnement technique, et les modes d'interaction qu'elles déploient en direction du public
