This thesis aims at studying the modeling and the numerical resolution of macrosegregation during ingot solidification of binary metallic alloys. Macrosegregation is an heterogeneity of solute concentration at the ingot scale. This solute segregation modifies drastically the mechanical and chemical properties. So it is essential to predict such heterogeneities to ensure the product quality. After describing the industrial context and a review of the current research in this field, the models implemented in THERCAST (the solidification software developed at CEMEF) are presented.
