The purpose of this study is to investigate crack growth of multi-perforated structures when loading can vary from small scale yielding to large scale yielding conditions. In this study we focus on combustion chambers of aerospace engines. The material used in crack growth tests is the Haynes 188, a cobalt based superalloy, specially developed for this type of applications. Studies on crack growth of multi-perforated structures are often made in small scale yielding conditions.
