Acceso al financiamiento de la vivienda para grupos de escasos recursos

JUNDEP stands for Juventudes Para el Desarrollo y la Producción (Youth for Development and Production – Private Corporation for Social Development.) Architect Tapia moderated the round table on this issue, which was organized by GRET (France), the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (MINVU) and JUNDEP. This paper describes the programmatic proposals made by different State and private, national and foreign entities such as the Ministry of the Interior and MINVU (Chile), FONHAPO (Mexico), the Hogar de Cristo (Chile), JUNDEP (Chile), SEHAC (Brazil) and GRET (France), which supports part of these initiatives. It was concluded that a greater commitment and participation on the part of beneficiaries would contribute to the improvement of their community organization, their saving capacity and their possibilities to purchase or improve dwellings.JUNDEP es la sigla de la ONG "Juventudes Para el Desarrollo y la Producción", Corporación Privada de Desarrollo Social. El arquitecto Tapia actuó de moderador de la Mesa Redonda realizada en Santiago en torno al tópico, y organizada por el GRET (Francia), el MINVU y JUNDEP. El artículo describe las propuestas programáticas llevadas a cabo por diferentes entidades Estatales y privadas, nacionales y extranjeras Los expositores fueron los Ministerios del Interior y de Vivienda y Urbanismo de Chile, el FONHAPO de México, el Hogar de Cristo, JUNDEP, el SEHAC de Brasil y el GRET quien apoya alguna de estas acciones. Fruto de esta reunión, surgieron conclusiones que el autor menciona al final del artículo: un mayor compromiso y participación del beneficiario, mejora su organización comunitaria, su capacidad de ahorro y su posibilidad de enfrentar el problema de adquirir o mejorar su vivienda
