La educación chilena en tiempos de emergencia: educar y aprender durante la pandemia por COVID-19

Education has undergone important changes during the period of the health crisis. Schools and families have had to adapt to new ways of generating learning and, jointly, solving accessibility gaps in terms of communication, technology and territorial distribution. In the case of Chile, the current educational macro and micro policies that arose during the pandemic have played a transcendental role regarding how teaching-learning processes are designed, implemented and lived from the home. For this reason, it is imperative to know the perceptions of teachers and parents or guardians regarding emergency teaching implemented in the context of a pandemic. The research presented in this article aims to contribute to this aim from a qualitative-interpretive approach, through the application of focus groups and semi-structured interviews. This allowed the categorical analysis of results in a deductive and inductive way, throwing interesting reflections on the perceptions of teachers and parents or guardian. Some of the most relevant findings of this study are related to the assessment of educational action in times of pandemic, the vision of teachers and parents as a learning community, and the role of emotions in learning.La educación ha vivido importantes cambios durante el periodo de crisis sanitaria. Las escuelas y las familias han debido adaptarse a las nuevas formas de generar aprendizajes y, conjuntamente, resolver brechas de accesibilidad en materia de comunicación, tecnología y distribución territorial. En el caso de Chile, las actuales macro y micropolíticas educativas suscitadas durante la pandemia han jugado un papel trascendental respecto a cómo se diseñan, implementan y viven los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje desde el hogar. Por lo mismo, es imperativo conocer las percepciones de docentes y apoderadas/os en torno a la enseñanza de emergencia implementada en contexto de pandemia. La investigación presentada en este artículo pretende aportar a dicha finalidad desde un enfoque cualitativo-interpretativo, mediante la aplicación de grupos focales y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Esto permitió el análisis categorial de resultados de forma deductiva e inductiva, arrojando interesantes reflexiones en torno a las percepciones de docentes y apoderadas/os. Algunos de los hallazgos más relevantes de este estudio se relacionan con la valoración de la acción educativa en tiempos de pandemia, la visión de docentes y apoderadas/os como comunidad de aprendizaje y el rol de las emociones en el aprendizaje
