Los judíos del Kurdistán: una mirada a su historia

This is an approach to Middle Eastern Judaism from the history of the Jews of Kurdistan themselves that challenge some of the assumptions from which the Jewish life of the Middle East is studied. As a result of these methodological assumptions, Kurdish Jews have been made invisible by the Latin American academy dedicated to both Jewish studies and the one focused on Kurds. Making a historical journey on Jewish life in the territory of Kurdistan, the article incorporates references to the most outstanding academic works carried out around Jewish Kurds in order to show the different areas from which the Latin American academy interested, both in the studies Jews as well as Kurds, could approximate this theme.En este artículo se plantea una aproximación al judaísmo medio oriental desde la historia de los judíos del Kurdistán mismos que desafían algunos de los supuestos desde los cuales se estudia la vida judía del Medio Oriente. Resultado de dichos presupuestos metodológicos los judíos kurdos han sido invisibilizados por la academia latinoamericana dedicada tanto a los estudios judíos como en la enfocada en los kurdos. Haciendo un recorrido histórico sobre la vida judía en el territorio del Kurdistán el artículo incorpora referencias a los trabajos académicos más destacados realizados en torno a los kurdos judíos con el fin de mostrar los diferentes ámbitos desde los cuales la academia latinoamericana interesada, tanto en los estudios judíos como kurdos, podría aproximarse a esta temática
