This article analyses the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights judgment in the case Sindicatul Pãstorul cel Bun v. Romania of 9 July 2013. The author analyses the reasoning of the European Court and describes the relationship between religious freedom and freedom of association in the jurisprudence of the Court of Strasbourg.
