[ARTICULO RETRACTATADO] Historia y Ficción: un Debate que no Acaba para Comprender la Realidad

Film and History are two areas of knowledge that work according to their own rules and techniques, but share the field of description and interpretation that seeks every society in relation to facts and truthful social constructions made by signs, symbols and representations. The present work is a theoretical review of the contributions that film has made to the discipline of history and the contribution that the media have on memory retrieval achieved through fictions and documentaries as study material for the history and understanding of cultural symbols in a society.El cine y la historia son dos terrenos del conocimiento que trabajan de acuerdo a sus propias técnicas y reglas, pero que comparten el campo de la descripción e interpretación que busca toda sociedad en relación a hechos y construcciones sociales verídicas por medio de signos, símbolos y representaciones. El presente trabajo es una revisión teórica sobre los aportes del cine a la disciplina de la historia y la contribución que tienen los medios audiovisuales en la recuperación de la memoria lograda a través de ficciones y documentales como material de estudio para la historia y comprensión de símbolos culturales en una sociedad.&nbsp
