In France, right wing political parties have been neglected by political science. Reasons are various. One of them results from the long-lasting supremacy of Maurice Duverger model based on cadre party versus mass party. However, it is worth for political parties theory to study what used to be considered as parties by default or parties without active members. This enables us to make evolve paradigms, as well as theories and concepts regarding political organisations.
