In this article, we propose a reflection about caregiving during childbirth, which arises from the analysis of testimonies of childbirth experiences that were expressed by women in the First Survey on Childbirth in Chile, applied by the Observatory of Obstetric Violence (OVO Chile) in 2017. From evidence-based activism, we give voice to women's lived experiences as a fundamental source of knowledge that can dialogue with biomedical knowledge and thus enable the emergence of new forms of collective reflexivity.
