At the end of the 19th century and early 20th century, along with the new emerging mining industry, we notice that Chilean literature exhibits a significant presence of domestic and industrial objects. This article explores the role of them in literature to discuss afterwards their exposure as works of art and finally as archaeological remains. In this perspective, we seek to discuss on the role of historical-archaeological materiality and memory structure process through three different forms of time (literary, artistic and archaeological).
