This article unveils the main results of a study on the representation of LGTBIQ+ in the children's animated series Steven Universe, created by Rebecca Sugar and distributed by Cartoon Network Studio. Fiction has been and continues to be the most valuable entertainment genre for markets and also for audiences. For this reason, the study of fictional characters is essential to know the roles played in specific communities.
