KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN BACA TULIS AL-QUR'AN DI TAMAN PENDIDIKAN AL-QUR'AN (TPQ) AN-NUR DARUNNAJAH KALISONGO-DAU-MALANG

Competence is one of the most important teacher qualifications, if this competence does not exist in a teacher, then he will not be competent in his duties. Pedagogic competence is one of the competencies that every teacher must have at any level of education. In addition, the ability of an educator must be competent in all matters, especially Al-Qur'an education which focuses on reading and writing the Qur'an. Based on this, this study aims to describe the pedagogic competence of teachers in improving reading and writing the Qur'an. The approach that used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and archival recordings. With informants namely M. Rizal Qosim (Head of TPQ An-Nur Darunnajah), Soli (Lecturer at TPQ An-Nur Darunnajah). From this study, there are several research results that the researchers has found, namely the pedagogic competence of teachers at TPQ An-Nur Darunnajah formed by the habits and frequency of teachers when interacting in each lesson, this is evidenced by the teacher's ability to recognize characters, the ability to communicate with students and the patience of teachers in developing the potential of students. In improving the reading and writing of the Qur'an at TPQ An-Nur Darunnajah shows that the teaching and learning process uses two approaches, namely teacher center and student center through the sema'an and sorogan methods. The sema'an method is applied to students who have reached volumes 4 to 6, while the sorogan method is used to participants who are still in volumes 1 to
