PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA KOTAK AJAIB TEMATIK (KOATIK) TEMA 5 SUBTEMA 1 UNTUK SISWA KELAS II SD

Based on the results of the needs analysis in class IIA SDN Sumbersari 01 Malang The lack of existing learning media causes the learning process in the classroom to not provide new experiences for students and take place normally.The emergence of such problems, students and teachers need media that are in accordance with the characteristics of class II students, namely thematic-based media that are packaged in the form of games, are interesting, colorful, and attract students' interest in learning. This study aims to develop the Thematic Magic Box Media (KOATIK) Theme 5 Sub-theme 1 for Grade II Elementary School Students. This research was conducted with the subjects of class IIA students totaling 24 students of SDN Sumbersari 01 Malang. This study uses the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely, analysis (analyze), planning (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Thematic Magic Box Media (KOATIK) developed is valid, this is evidenced by the results of the validation of the material Ali obtaining a percentage of 93.3% with a very feasible and valid category, while the results of the validation of media experts get a percentage of 92.6% with very feasible and valid category, and the results of student responses after using this learning media obtained a percentage of 87.2% with the category of attracting students' interest, fun when used, and helping students make it easier to understand the material, this is evidenced by the results of students' scores getting an average the average value is 87. Suggestions for further research are to be able to develop the media by correcting the shortcomings in this media, both in terms of appearance, color, and content of the material
