Asuhan Keperawatan Keluarga Pada Ny. I Dengan Epilepsi (Studi Kasus Di Kelurahan Bakalankrajan Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ciptomulyo)

Background : Epilepsy is a brain disorder characterized by previous epileptic seizures. Epilepsy is a very complex and comprehensive disease that affects human lifestyle. The fostered family has family members with epilepsy with less understanding about the management of epilepsy and do not use health insurance. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to gain direct experience and picture in providing family nursing care for epilepsy patients. Methods : KIA-N uses a case study research design to explore the problem of nursing care for the family of Ny. I. The assessment uses a family nursing assessment format. Make targets and action plans based on SIKI, IDHS and several journals. Implementation was carried out in 2 meetings with a focus on the implementation of Group Self-Management Education and Murottal Therapy. Results: The results of the study obtained 4 nursing diagnoses, namely, readiness to improve family health management, sleep pattern disorders and knowledge deficit. With a disease process education plan, family support planning care in health education. And the implementation is to make counseling related to Epilepsy with the Group Self-Management Education method, Prevention of hepatitis, Handling of epileptic seizures, murottal therapy. The actions given make counseling Group Self-Management Education, Prevention of hepatitis, Handling of epileptic seizures, murottal therapy. With all problems resolved. Discussion: Nursing problems Readiness to improve family health management, sleep pattern disorders and knowledge deficit in Ny. I with Epilepsy. It has been done by making and providing leaflets and education with an offline system.
