UPAYA IBU MENGATASI KEKURANGAN ENERGI KRONIS (KEK) PADA KEHAMILAN PADA IBU HAMIL

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is one of the nutritional problems in pregnant women, which is caused by the amount of insufficient energy intake, heavy workload, disease/infection in the mother, minimal family income, lack of knowledge about nutrition during pregnancy, lack of awareness pregnant women to consume food with balanced nutrition, as well as the inability of the family to provide nutritious food. For this reason, mother's efforts and help from her family are needed. This research design uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Samples were taken as many as 3 participants, namely pregnant women with CED, husbands of pregnant women with CED, and mother-in-law with CED, in the range of June to July 2018. The results showed that the efforts of pregnant women in overcoming CED during pregnancy were able to increase their weight little by little with the help of their husbands and mothers. Seeing the results of this study, it is necessary to have maternal efforts and assistance by the family in overcoming Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnancy
