TELAAH GAYA BAHASA KIASAN PADA LIRIK LAGU ALBUM EFEK RUMAH KACA

The style of language is beautiful and essentially serves to increase the effect in literary works by comparing a unique object with other objects that are more general. In the world of music, the use of language style is utilized in its entirety to animate certain effects in a song. Based on this background, the main objectives of this study are (1) to describe the form of figurative language in the lyrics of the album Efek Rumah Kaca by Efek Rumah Kaca and, (2) to describe the meaning of figurative language in the lyrics of the album Efek Rumah Kaca by Efek Rumah Kaca. . The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data source used in this research is the Greenhouse Effect album by the Greenhouse Effect (ERK). The data in this study are excerpts of song lyrics in the Greenhouse Effects album, Karya Kaca Rumah Kaca (ERK). The data collection technique used in this study was listening and taking notes. Data analysis technique is a way for researchers to examine data findings that have previously been obtained by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, there are forms of word choice found in the 13 songs of Efek Rumah Kaca in the album Efek Rumah Kaca which contain seven kinds of figurative language styles, namely equation or simile, metaphor, personification or prosopopoeia, antonomasia, hypalase, irony and satire. The meaning of figurative language style as an expression to be conveyed by the creator or lyricist of the song. The lyrics of the song are made with a specific purpose, there is a meaning to be conveyed by the creator or writer of the lyrics of the song in this research, which includes five meanings, namely connotative meaning, affective meaning, reflective meaning, collocative meaning, and idiomatic meaning
