ANALISIS VARIABEL PENENTU KUALITAS PEMBANGUNAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA DI PULAU MADURA TAHUN 2014-2020

Madura Island has abundant natural resources. However, it is not balanced with the human resources owned where human quality is also a determining component of development. Human resources play an important role in the development process. The higher the quality of human resources (HR), the more it encourages the progress of a country or region. This study aims to determine the effect of the variables in the Health, Education, and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the Human Development Index on Madura Island in 2014-2020. The type of data used in this study is secondary data taken from the Madura Island Realization Report on the website of the Directorate General of Balance and Finance (DJPK) and BPS East Java in 2014-2020. The analytical method used in this study uses panel data regression analysis. The results of this study are the Health Sector has a positive and significant impact on the Human Development Index. Education sector has a positive and insignificant effect on the Human Development Index. GRDP has a positive and significant effect on the Development Index on Madura Island
