Sakralitas Ritual Upacara Siraman Sedudo (Studi di Desa Ngaliman Sawahan Kabupaten Nganjuk)

This research is entitled about the sacredness in the ritual tradition of Siraman Sedudo Ceremony in Ngaliman Sawahan Village, Nganjuk Regency, Ritual of Siraman Sedudo Ceremony are the stages of the Siraman Satu Suro Ritual at Sedudo Waterfall, as one of the hereditary traditions of the Ngaliman Village community, the tradition of the Siraman Ceremony Ritual Sedudo is held on the night of one suro in the Javanese calendar or in the Islamic calendar it is the month of Muharram for the Ngaliman Village Community. This research proposes one problem formulation, namely. 1) How is the Sacredness of the Siraman Sedudo Ceremony Ritual in the Ngaliman Sawahan Village community, Nganjuk District, Nganjuk Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out more about To find out more about the Sacred Ritual of the Siraman Sedudo Ceremony of the Ngaliman Sawahan Village community, Nganjuk District, Nganjuk Regency. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, documentation and secondary data. The theory used in this research is The Elementary Forms of The Religious Life "Sacred" Theory. Sacredness in the ritual tradition of the Siraman Sedudo Ceremony in Ngaliman Sawahan Village, Nganjuk Regency, can be seen from various aspects, namely Sacred, cultural values, spiritual strength and acculturation of beliefs that are reproduced through the unity of the community and the spiritual world has an example of respect for the ancestors of Mbah Ki Ageng Ngaliman . The Ritual of the Siraman Sedudo Ceremony shows that in the Sacred Stages of the Ritual of the Siraman Sedudo Ceremony, it is believed that it is related to the Heritage Tradition of Mbah Ki Ageng Ngaliman. Some of the Sacred Stages of the Siraman Sedudo Ceremony of the Ngaliman Village, Nganjuk Regency, there are five Sacred Rituals 1. The Sacred Stages of the Jamasan Pusaka Ritual, 2. The Sacred Stages of the Wedus Kendhit Cutting Ritual, 4. The Sacred Stages of the Amek Terto Dance, 5. The Sacred Stages of the Siraman Sedudo Ritual. Rituals are carried out as a hereditary tradition brought by the ancestors with full meaning and values
