Analisis Kerapatan Stomata dan Kadar Klorofil Daun Pohon Angsana (Ptrerocarpus indicus) pada Beberapa Lokasi di Kota Malang Sebagai Sumber Belajar Biologi

Plants have a physiological response to environmental conditions and air conditions in the environment where the plant grows and develops. One of them is the Angsana tree. Angsana is one of the protective trees that are good at adapting and absorbing air pollution. The role of the Angsana tree in the absorption of air pollution particles is related to the stomata and chlorophyll levels in the plant. One of the factors that can affect the increase or decrease in chlorophyll levels and stomata density is environmental conditions and Pb levels. Environmental conditions and air pollution can give different results at the two research locations, namely the Hutan Kota Malabar and Terminal Landungsari. This is because plants will respond physiologically to where they grow. This research aimed to determine the differences in chlorophyll content and stomata density in Angsana leaves at the two research sites and to describe the study of research results as a source of learning biology. The type and approach of this research is descriptive quantitative. Leaf samples used Angsana leaves were obtained from Hutan Kota Malabar and Terminal Landungsari. The leaves sample used purposive sampling method, namely the lower branch leaves with leaf order number 5 down. Research on chlorophyll content and stomatal density was carried out at the Biology Laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang and for Pb levels in the Chemical Laboratory of Brawijaya University. The data obtained has been analyzed with unpaired t-test. The results showed that there was no significant difference in chlorophyll content and stomata density of Angsana leaves in the two research sites, then the results of this study were used as a source of learning biology
