PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA PANTAI GILI KETAPANG (STUDI DI DESA GILI KETAPANG, KECAMATAN SUMBERASIH, KABUPATEN PROBOLINGGO)

For coastal communities, marine waters and natural conditions are often only focused on the use of biota with a profession as a fisherman, attention to the potential of coastal tourism is often not paid attention to. However, this is different from Gili Ketapang Island in Probolinggo Regency which has deliberately sought the development of beach tourism by youth on Gili Ketapang Island and until now has provided many economic benefits to the Gili Ketapang community. The purpose of this study is to determine community participation in the development of Gili Ketapang Beach Tourism. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative, the analysis technique is carried out with the interactive model of Miles Hubberman. The results of the analysis show that the participating communities include boat taxi service providers, traders, tour operators and cleaners, guides and security at the rest area. Furthermore, it is known that the form of adaptation is in the form of improving coastal conditions so that they are suitable as tourist destinations, the form of goal attainment is to improve the community's economy through tourism potential, the form of integration is coordination between parties in developing coastal tourism, while the latency aspect is in the form of an agreement between the manager and the village government so that everyone who involved in the development of Gili Ketapang Beach tourism is the Gili Ketapang community itself, this is in order to achieve the goal of economic benefits that can be optimized for the community in Gili Ketapang Village
