In 4842 prostate cancer patients undergoing radical prostatectomy between 2000 and 2019, we found a shift toward higher preoperative Gleason score and D'Amico risk groups as well as postoperative stages and grades. This might indicate better patient selection for surgery or be a harbinger of rising mortality and morbidity.
