Constitution changes influenced by the European Union membership

The European Union is a political and economic community associating 28 member states located on the European continent. The idea of the foundation of the European Union based on the cooperation of individual states was highlighted after the end of the Second World War. The cooperation of the European states had to safeguard peace, security, reconstruction of economy and social stability. The continuation of integration activities of the concerned states and their chief representatives had been completed in 1992 by the approval of the Treaty on the European Union known as well as the Maastricht Treaty.
