Data on the land snail fauna of the Aggtelek National Park

During the 5 years survey 76 land snail species were found in the area of the Aggtelek National Park. Considering the data available in the literature this number increases to 83. In the light of these surveys,this karst area is a fender zone between the Carpathicum and the Pannonicum faunal regions and it is a malacological hot spot
