Structure of agricultural holdings in Hungary in years 2000, 2003 and 2005

In order to provide the necessary information for conducting Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), Member States are obliged to carry out regularly Farm Structure Surveys (FSS). FSS serves as a backbone of the whole agricultural statistics and also indispensable for the domestic agricultural policy-makers. Nowadays the information collected through FSS is essential for preparing the Rural Development Policy (RDP), which accompanies and complements CAP.
