We have found that we made a mistake when we estimated the H2O2 concentration by the colorimetric method in our paper [1]. he H2O2 concentration was estimated using the colorimetric method based on the reaction of H2O2 and Ti(SO4)2 in strong acid (Ti4+ + H2O2 + 2H2O → H2TiO4 + 4 H+). The H2O2 concentration (CH2O2) is proportional to the absorption intensity at 410 nm (I410 nm), originating from the yellow-coloured H2TiO4 [2–5], (Formula Presented) where k is the proportionality. In our paper, a wrong k of 1.23 was used instead of the right one of 3.7. Therefore, the H2O2 concentration shown in figures 2, 3, 5 and 6 must be corrected. The corrected figures are presented here. Since our discussion is not concerned with the absolute concentration of the H2O2 species, this corrigendum will not change the validity of the conclusions.
