The purpose of this study was to assess the link between knowledge about the female anatomy and sexual behavior. It was hypothesized that greater knowledge of the female anatomy would be related to comfort in discussing sexual behaviors as well as having more sexual partners. A sample of 200 participants ages 18-52 completed a four part survey which assessed demographics, comfort, sexual interaction, and knowledge. Both hypotheses were supported. In addition, there was a strong relationship between comfort level in talking to an intimate partner and comfort level in talking about the female anatomy in general.
