The enhancement of yield of solar still (SS) is viewed as very significant due to the production of the potable water. It is also considered as uncomplicated device for desalination. There is also no need for professional work and technology. Higher water temperatures are an important task to increase the solar production even further; therefore many researchers have used solar collectors. The parabolic trough collector is an advanced technology that can still provide solar high-temperature water to increase the yield.
