An archivist and a librarian at the Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library collaborated with two faculty members on classroom projects at Clark Atlanta University and Spelman College to help students expand ethnic representation on Wikipedia through archival research. The projects centered on teaching students how to conduct research on African American figures in academic archives and how to publish their findings on Wikipedia. This chapter presents how the faculty collaboration functioned, how the assignment was developed, how instructional sessions were taught, and how the assignment was received by students.
