The Migration Studies Project (MSP) offers this annotated bibliography as part of its on-going research relating to the United States-Mexico Border Industry Program (BIP). This introduction offers students of the United States-Mexico border region some critical reflections on the origins, directions, and political significance of Border Studies Research. The introduction also offers a critical assessment of the impact of the BIP on the concerns and policy-relevance of this multidisciplinary field of study.
