In 2020, the World Indigenous Nations University-Hawai‘i Pasifika (WINUHP) launched the E Ola Ka ʻIke Hawaiʻi (Long Live Hawaiian Knowledge) project. The purpose of the project is to increase access to and engagement with culturally-relevant Native Hawaiian digital resources via information literacy skills development for Native Hawaiians, educators and librarians. E Ola Ka ʻIke Hawaiʻi project leaders have developed an entirely online, dynamic curriculum to offer a certificate program, which was piloted in 2021.
