The object of the research is volunteer management in sports organizations. The aim of the study is to evaluate volunteer management in sports organizations. The objectives of the research: 1. To describe the theoretical aspects of volunteers’ management. 2. To discuss the main sport volunteer’s management components. 3. To evaluate the Volunteer’s Management organization in Ginasio de Santo Tirso handball club. The theoretical management features of volunteers are characterized by seven main practices: planning, recruitment, evaluation, guidance, training, activity management and identification of the activity.
