Men’s basketball team’s game’s activities indicator changes in the olympic games

Relevance: Analysis of games played by the world’s greatest basketball teams provide a large amount of impertial information about a basketball game, it’s evolution, rankings. Scientific problem: Type of indexes in men’s basketball which lead to the the game victories. Goal: Indicate and assess Men’s basketball team’s match’s activity during Olympic game. The main methods of research: Pedagogical monitoring (observation records systematization) as well as statistical analysis. Lithuania’s men’s national basketball team’s Olympic game, championship, and teams that took the first eight places were watched. Results: Olympic game champion average per game most points earned in 1992 years - 116,75 ± 7,50; the lowest in 2004 years - 81,80 ± 8,90. Champions average per game most rebound earned in 2000 years - 42,85 ± 6,2 and the lowest in 30,75 ± 5,80. Lithuania’s national basketball team average per game most points earned in 2004 years – 93,70 ± 6,90, the lowest in 2016 m. – 76,00 ± 11,73. Conclusion: In our studied Lithuania’s men’s basketball team’s match’s performance comparing with Olympic champion indictors, we found that Lithuania’s men’s national basketball team received less points, make less assists, rebounds less, make bad two-point throws, makes more mistakes. The only statistical indicator that Lithuania’s national basketball team does better than the champions is that Lithuania’s team makes better free throws
