To evaluate recreational zones of the Taurage City from the consumers point of view. Conclusions: Recuperation is the essential part of the daily regime. Recuperation is the form of activity helping to recover physically as well as psychologically; it also contributes towards the development of personality. Recreational zones attract tourism and business, encourage people to take on sports, to pursue hobbies or other activities that eliminate every day routine and fatigue and improve their living standards. Parks, squares, sports grounds, beaches, cycling and pedestrian tracks not only benefit city socially but also economically. Taurage City has a number of well developed recreational zones that possess natural, cultural and the resources of a special purpose which contribute towards the public recuperation. The majority of respondents were youth that is involved in active or passive leisure. According to the citizens of Taurage the city's recreational zones are in a good condition, public do use them quite often and admit that they contribute towards the better living standards of their city. Public agrees that Taurage recreational zones give the city social, economical, ecological and recreational advantages. These areas are perfect for socializing, they are a good in terms of improving populations’ living standards and its values.
