The link between assessment and learning of employees of sport clubs

Key words: evaluation of activity, assessment of employees, learning, organizational studies, on training institution. The subject of work: the link between assessment and learning of employees of Alytus sport clubs. The problem of survey: being aware of the importance of activity evaluation and the necessity of learning of sport club employees to show how their assessment is related with their learning in order to be a successful competitor on the market. The aim of the work: to establish the link between the assessment and learning of Alytus sport clubs employees. The objectives of the work: 1) to reveal the fundamental characteristics of the conception of learning and to set the essential features of the learning organization 2) to describe the conception of assessment of employees and to detect advantages and shortages of the function of assessment methods 3) to define and analyse the activity evaluation of Alytus sport clubs 4) to define the major elements of learning of employees of Alytus sport clubs 5) to define the link between assessment and learning of employees of Alytus sport clubs and to present its practical module. Hypotheses risen in the work: • team methods of employees` assessment have stronger influence versus individual methods for the learning of the whole organization; • team evaluation methods have a stronger influence on the learning of the whole organization than any other methods stimulating learning process . Conclusions: 1) We have distinguished individual and organizational learning which are oriented towards internal and external environment. Individual and organizational learning take place in more internal environment. Individual learning is an insufficient condition for organizational learning. For this reason we distinguished the main features of organizational learning which is oriented towards internal environment: constant development of the organization members, its efforts to seek the effectiveness of activity and accumulation of new experience and knowledge. • Major features of a learning organization have been detected: learning, education, accumulation of knowledge of the members of organization is oriented towards seeking the definite targets: formation of its vision, mission and strategy; communication and co-operation of the organization members; openness of the organization expanding its margins of efficiency. 2) • After the conception of assessment of employees was set it became evident that a lot of scientists understand the function as activity, work, a multi-stage and complicated objective, the formation of two elements: activity and assessment, process, a compound of management. • The major assessment methods of employees have been distinguished: individual (having 360 degrees of feedback, individual assessment, free (not structural), descriptive (quality), combined (medium), quantity) and team (comparative assessment, structural, special). Advantages and shortages of the above listed methods have been also distinguished. Such classification of methods could help organizations to choose a purposive methods of employee assessment. 3) The major objectives of the activity evaluation of employees are appointed for the promotion of employees development and evaluation of their work results. The evaluation is mostly fulfilled on a team level by the help of special methods; a positive activity evaluation effect upon the management and spread of knowledge has been established. 4) Fundamental features of the surveyed organizations: the major part or all knowledge is being used at work and it influences constant learning and development of the organization. The basic factors used and mostly acceptable by employees – psychological and personal attitude; assurance of efficiency productivity and quality; management and spread of experience and knowledge. Knowledge, constant learning and processes of sharing knowledge always have influence on the work fulfilled. 5) Team (structural) assessment methods have a stronger influence on the analysis of the fulfilled works than individual (descriptive) methods; when applying team (structural) and individual (descriptive) evaluation methods knowledge is being used for more practical purpose than for expressing it in words, figures, symbols; the more often evaluation of employees activity is being carried out the more rare they look for information themselves; the team evaluation of organization develops features of a learning organization.
